When I started Everyday Ascend, it was never about clothing.
The shirts and hoodies came later. The idea came first.
This brand was built out of a simple truth I kept coming back to in my own life. Progress does not come from massive overnight change. It comes from showing up, even when it feels quiet, even when no one is watching, even when the results are not obvious yet.
I grew up watching what it meant to build something from the ground up. My dad was a small business owner in Detroit, with his storefront right in the Cass Corridor. I saw the long days. I saw the pressure. I saw the pride that came with putting your name behind your work. That stuck with me more than I realized at the time.
Detroit itself has always represented that same mindset to me. Grit. Resilience. Getting knocked down and finding a way to stand back up. The skyline is not just a backdrop. It is a reminder of where this mentality was formed.
Everyday Ascend exists for people who are building something. Maybe it is a business. Maybe it is their health. Maybe it is confidence, discipline, or a better relationship with themselves. Whatever it is, the common thread is effort over perfection.
The 1% Better Club is not about being better than anyone else. It is about being a little better than yesterday. One decision. One habit. One uncomfortable step forward.
There are days when this brand moves fast, and days when it feels painfully slow. Both matter. Both are part of the process. I am learning that building something meaningful requires patience, humility, and a willingness to keep going when motivation fades.
If you are wearing Everyday Ascend, know this. You are not just supporting a brand. You are part of a mindset. You are choosing progress over excuses, consistency over hype, and long term growth over shortcuts.
I am grateful for every person who has supported this journey so far. Every order, every message, every conversation reminds me why this matters.
We are just getting started.
Thank you for being here.
